About Us
Lupus Foundation of New England.
Founded in 1974, the Lupus Foundation serves thousands of people
in New England who are affected by lupus - patients, their families,
friends, and health care providers. The Board
of Trustees and staff invite you to help by becoming a member
of the Foundation, volunteering for an educational program or fundraising
event, or providing financial support.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Lupus Foundation of New England is to empower
people with lupus and provide hope for the cure. Core activities
to implement our mission are:
- We enrich the lives of people with lupus and their families
and serve as a leading resource for education and support in New
England.
- We encourage compassion by educating the public on the impact
of lupus on the individual and family.
- We partner with lupus research organizations to fund vital scientific
research that will lead to the cure.
- We are a catalyst for collaboration with other community and
national organizations.

Research
The Lupus Foundation of New England supports the Lupus
Research Institute (LRI) and the Alliance
for Lupus Research (ALR).
The Lupus Foundation encourages students
to pursue a career in lupus-related medical research by funding
summer fellowships.
Membership
Become a member of the Lupus Foundation of New England with a minimum
donation of $20.00.
